Hey Veres, thanks for making this forum. Seeing your answers and passion behind this is nothing short of inspiring. So I am color blind, but I still love the look/vibes of film. Its gotten way to expensive to develop film for my camera and I have a rx100 m3 which does not support PP :(
That being said, I also have a Sony A7rIV. Its my work horse camera and I can pretty much use it in any event from family photos to sports photography and everything in between. My question is around memory recall, I assume I can store the PP profile in the dial at the top under 1/2/3 but can i also store the the color temp and the A/B/G/M adjustments as well there? that way i can have 3 film sims I can easily access
Best,
RP
Hei Rohan, thank you for the kind words, they mean a lot!
the memory recall will store everything, from Kelvin to shutter speed to video format on the moment of saving, everything, so be careful what exact settings you set up, because every time you will dial in that memory call, it will change the whole camera settings.
Memory recall it's also useful if you want extra slots for other film simulations, for example if you already have your main 10 slots filled with your favourite and want a couple more, you can save them into memory recall to open up your main picture profile slots for new film recipes. You'll have them there until you over write the memory with new settings. be careful with that also, in case you created your own custom picture profiles, as soon as you over write, it's not recoverable.
Hope you are having a great day ! :D take care
