Aaron Kennison Beautiful pics. Based on your experience, do you need to adjust the settings in the PDFs to match your A7C II, or do you achieve the intended results by following them as they are?
The A7C II and A6700 were released in the same year and share similar color science, so differences between them are minimal. However, there’s a small distinction worth noting: the A6700, which shares its sensor with the FX30 cinema camera, tends to have a warmer, yellowish tone. In contrast, the A7C II can sometimes lean toward a cooler, magenta cast.
If you find your A7C II images looking too magenta, you can easily correct this in-camera. Increase the Kelvin by 100–200 across all recipes, and optionally nudge the color filter 0.5 steps toward green. These subtle adjustments can help align the color output across different Sony models.
