They work well across most modern Sony bodies: the closer your camera is to the a6700 in Sony's color science timeline, the more accurate the match. Older models (like the a7II or a6000 series) will get a great starting point but may need a few minor tweaks to dial it in perfectly.

These presets were calibrated on the Sony a6700. Newer cameras should not have problems as they are very close in color science to the a6700.

But you’ll notice color differences if there is a huge gap between the model the presets have been calibrated on, and the camera you are using (ex. calibrated to a6700, but presets used on a7II). So the further your camera sits from the a6700 in Sony's development timeline, the more you may need to nudge white balance or exposure to dial things in.

A Sony a7IV or ZV-E10 II? Nearly identical color science - the match will be close. A Sony a7II or a6000? You'll get a strong starting point, but expect a few extra minutes of adjustment to reach the look.

That’s because each sensor interprets colors slightly differently.

This isn't a flaw. No RAW preset calibrated on one sensor can perfectly match every camera on the market. What these presets do is get you 90% there. The remaining 10% is yours to finish.
The in-camera Gamma - like S-Log3, Still, or Movie - of choice will alter the contrast of the RAW files when imported into your editing software.

Let's say you want the punchy, vibrant look of Kodak Ektra. But you shot your RAW file using Sony's S-Log gamma. If you apply the Ektra preset to that S-Log file, you won't get the look you expect. Instead of the rich Ektra look, your image will look flat and washed-out because the preset wasn't expecting an S-Log starting point.

That difference may or may not matter to you if you like experimenting, but for accuracy, use the matching preset to the film simulation used in camera.
You can load these presets onto files from Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, or Leica. Just know that you won't get a 1:1 match to the previews. Because every camera brand has its own unique color mapping, the preset will react differently to a Canon sensor than it does to a Sony. You’ll still get a filmic starting point, it just won't be identical. And depending on the sensor differences, you'll have to make adjustments.
